Instructions

    Mix shortening, sugar, eggs, and lemon extract thoroughly.

    Stir flour, baking powder, and salt together.

    Slowly add flour mixture to shortening mixture. Don't forget to mix in some love!

    Divide dough in half, wrap in plastic wrap, and chill in fridge for at least 1 hour.

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees and take dough out of the fridge.

    Roll dough 1/8 inch thick on lightly floured board and cut designs with cookie cutters.

    Place on baking sheet, top with sprinkles and bake for 6 to 8 minutes.
