Who is behind The Joy in Gathering?
Alicia, Karolyn, and Monica. A mother, daughter, and sister team who love creating memorable moments together and sharing them with you. Everything you see comes from our lived experiences as a family who truly loves to gather.
What is your hosting philosophy?
We believe gatherings should feel thoughtful but never complicated. Beauty, warmth, and connection matter more than perfection. Our content is meant to help you create moments that feel effortless and full of meaning.
Do you share your recipes?
Yes. All of our recipes can be found on our website. We focus on simple, approachable dishes and timeless flavors that make hosting feel relaxed and enjoyable.
Where can I find the items you use in your photos and videos?
Most of our styled looks and favorite finds are linked on LTK. We curate collections that reflect our vintage meets modern style so you can easily recreate the look in your own home.
Why do I see items in your content that are not for sale or not linked?
Many of the pieces you see in our photos and videos come from our own homes or from inspiration we are currently working on. Some items are personal favorites, vintage finds, or pieces from stores that are not linkable on LTK. When that happens, we do our best to provide similar alternatives so you can recreate the look in your own space.
Do you still sell vintage or curated items?
Our shop is currently closed as we focus on creating content and curated collections through LTK. The shop may reopen in the future, but for now you can find all of our favorites and styled picks on LTK.
How will I receive my order when the shop reopens?
When the shop is open, each order is packaged with care by our family. We pay close attention to details so your items arrive safely, beautifully wrapped, and ready to enjoy.
Will you find something specific for me?
We do not offer personal sourcing right now, but you are always welcome to message us about an item you saw on our site or social channels. If it becomes available in a future collection, you will be the first to know.
Do you plan events?
We do not offer full event planning at this time. We focus on creating content, inspiration, and tools that help you host with confidence. In 2026 we will be launching The Gathering Concierge, a service designed to guide you through your own celebrations with customized ideas and simple planning support.
How often do you post new content?
We share across Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, Facebook and our website throughout the week. Our new blog features stories, ideas, and hosting inspiration, and will continue to grow as we expand our content library.
