Instructions

  1. 1

Make the Spider Skewers: Cut your favorite cheese into bite-sized cubes. Thread the cheese cubes and fresh blackberries onto small skewers, alternating between the two. Finish by sliding a plastic spider ring onto the center of each skewer for a fun, spooky touch. Be sure to remove the decorative rings before eating.

  2. 2

Create the Banana Ghosts: Peel the bananas and slice them in half crosswise. Stand each half upright with the cut side facing down. Gently press two mini chocolate chips into each banana for eyes and one larger chocolate chip below for a spooky little mouth.

  3. 3

Assemble the Deviled Egg Spiders: Prepare your favorite deviled eggs and arrange them on your platter. Slice black olives in half lengthwise, placing one half in the center of each egg to create the spider's body. Thinly slice the remaining olives into strips and arrange four on each side for eight little legs.

  4. 4

Make the Cutie Pumpkins: Peel the mandarins, keeping each one whole. Cut celery into small, thin pieces, approximately ½–1 inch long. Gently insert a piece of celery into the center of each mandarin to create a miniature pumpkin stem.

  5. 5

Make the Monster Apples: Start with whole green apples and carefully cut a wedge-shaped opening into the front of each apple to create the monster's mouth. Spread a little nut butter inside the opening, then tuck in a sliced strawberry to resemble a tongue. Press sunflower seeds along the upper edge of the mouth to create little monster teeth. Finish by attaching candy eyes to the top of each apple using a small dab of nut butter.
