Cherry Tart
Made with simple ingredients and minimal prep, this easy cherry tart recipe is perfect for summer gatherings, holidays, or an elegant everyday dessert. The combination of sweet-tart cherries and creamy filling creates a beautifully balanced, bakery-style tart that’s as stunning as it is delicious.

Preheat the oven to 350ºF and prepare a 9-inch round tart pan with a removable bottom by greasing with oil or butter.

Pit 1 pound of cherries into a bowl.

Place the crust into the tart pan and trim any excess of the edge.

Par bake your crust by baking for 15-18 minutes. Remove from the oven once it begins to brown.

While the crust bakes, whisk together ¾ cup heavy cream, 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and 3 tablespoons granulated sugar.

Add 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour and whisk until well incorporated.

Arrange the pitted cherries over the crust base and slowly pour the cream filling evenly over the cherries.

Return the tart to the oven and bake 40-50 minutes until the filling is barely firm, still jiggling slightly in the center.
