Instructions

    Make blackberry sauce: simmer blackberries, ¼ cup sugar, lemon juice 10 min; cool and strain.

    Whisk cream, milk, ¾ cup sugar, vanilla until dissolved.

    Chill 2 hours.

    Churn in ice cream maker.

    Layer ice cream and blackberry sauce in container, swirl with knife.

    Freeze 2-4 hours until firm.
