Fall Off The Bone Baby Back Ribs

Ingredients:

  • Rack of Ribs

  • Yellow Mustard

  • Your favorite BBQ Rub - we used Kinders BBQ Blend.

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 275 degrees

  • Rinse ribs under cold water and pat dry

  • Lay ribs bone side up and using a small sharp knife slide the tip along a bone underneath the clear membrane and gently pry it up. Once you can get your finger underneath hold a paper towel and grip the membrane and pull it off the back of the ribs. You may have to do this in several portions.

  • Lay the ribs on a long sheet of aluminum foil bone side down and generously coat with yellow mustard. Top with your favorite dry BBQ rub. We used Kinders BBQ blend.

  • Cover with foil and roll up sides and the ends tightly against the ribs. Be careful not to puncture the foil. You need the ribs to be well sealed in the aluminum foil packet.

  • Put the foil wrapped ribs on a rimmed baking sheet and bake for 2.5-3 hours. Depending on how thick your ribs are.

  • Do not open packets while baking.

  • Remove from oven and let rest in packet for 15 mins.

  • Heat oven to broil

  • Carefully open packets and discard foil. Be careful of steam and hot juices.

  • Baste ribs with your favorite BBQ sauce. We used Sweet Baby Ray’s Original. Broil until sauce begins to carmelize, approx. 3 mins. Watch the ribs closely to avoid burning.

  • Note: for a shorter cooking time prepare ribs as directed and bake at 325 degrees for 1.5-2 hrs.
