Strawberry Ice Cream

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups strawberries 

  • 1/2 cup sugar & 1/2 lemon juice 

  • 2 1/2 cups heavy cream 

  • 1/2 cup whole milk 

  • 1/4 cup sugar 

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla 

  • Pinch of salt 

Directions:

  • 2 1/2 cups strawberries in bowl with 1/2 cup sugar & 1/2 lemon juice - Let sit for 15 to release juices then blend.  

  • Mix strawberry mixture with heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, vanilla and salt. Whisk until sugar is dissolved.

  • Pour into Kitchen Aid ice cream attachment and mix for 15 minutes.

  • Put into freezer safe container and let sit overnight.

  • Enjoy!
