Strawberry Ice Cream
Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups strawberries
1/2 cup sugar & 1/2 lemon juice
2 1/2 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup whole milk
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
Pinch of salt
Directions:
2 1/2 cups strawberries in bowl with 1/2 cup sugar & 1/2 lemon juice - Let sit for 15 to release juices then blend.
Mix strawberry mixture with heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, vanilla and salt. Whisk until sugar is dissolved.
Pour into Kitchen Aid ice cream attachment and mix for 15 minutes.
Put into freezer safe container and let sit overnight.
